St Joseph’s Catholic Church

Key Notes

During a storm event a small number of slate tiles were dislodged at the St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hope Street, Brunswick West.

The church, originally built in 1959, is a highly intact example of a modern brick interpretation of Gothic Revival architecture, and is of local historical and architectural significance.

An urgent make safe was required to repair the small number of tiles, but more importantly, preserve the well-detailed interior and prevent any damage to the wooden ceiling.
