As a respected expert in his field, Stuart uses his wealth of industry experience to provide leadership, advice and guidance to the award-winning team at Pattersons Insurerbuild, Australia’s first specialised national insurance builder. As the company’s founder and managing director, Stuart is widely recognised as the innovator and pioneer of the today’s model of insurance building. His national insurance building solution combined with a customer first focus brought about revolutionary changes which ultimately resulted in unprecedented improvement to the customer experience whilst drastically reducing timeliness and cost through efficiency.

He brings more than 25 years in insurance and 30 years’ experience in the building industry, backed by an advanced diploma in building and construction.

A qualified carpenter with both commercial and domestic experience and building licences, Stuart’s aspirations combined with his love of business and commerce provided him with the skills to realise the many visions and opportunities he saw in the building and insurance industry. His role allows him to pass on his knowledge and expertise to the team within the Pattersons group, and he gets enormous satisfaction from sharing ideas with some of Australia’s most successful and progressive insurance repair professionals.

Stuart has always been passionate in helping communities and those less fortunate with his company’s ongoing commitment to supporting charities, local sporting and/or community foundations. His drive and passion to always get the best outcome for his staff and customers perfectly complements the company’s high level of quality, care and service, while his vision and ambitions for the business into the future are endless with many things always on the horizon.

Andy Pereira

Executive General Manager

Andy plays an integral role in the business by maintaining and developing our client base through his relationships and industry network. Over the last 18 years, he has worked with major insurance companies in Australia and is conversant with industry standards and delivery expectations.

A key feature of Andy’s role is embedding those industry standards throughout Pattersons and cascading them down from management to team member, ensuring our customer service experience is consistent. He is a keystone to the growth and success of the company forged with the support of the professional and personal respect and friendship of Stuart Patterson.

Andy maintains a global view of the company and is involved in the high-level planning of commercial projects, providing crucial direction and decision-making at sites across Australia. He is passionate about building relationships based on customer service and delivery while providing the best outcomes for all stakeholders, plus he is acknowledged as one of the most capable and respected executives in the insurance industry.

Sam Ratcliff

General Manager Building & Operations

With more than 17 years’ experience in the insurance industry, Sam brings in-depth knowledge and attention to detail to his role as our general manager of building and operations. A seasoned claims professional, he specialises in both commercial and industrial special risks claims with an expert knowledge of the key risks and legislation in the financial services sector.

Sam has held senior and executive leadership claims roles across large general insurers, loss adjusting firms and third-party administrators, as well as a senior leadership role in quality assurance and risk at Australia’s largest general insurer. He has been instrumental in leading our operations by developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and leveraging these to achieve positive business outcomes for the end customer. By overseeing all aspects of business operations to meet service, financial and organisational requirements, he has become an essential component for Pattersons Insurerbuild, Australia’s largest specialised insurance repairer.

Sam is also passionate about his philanthropy work and is deeply involved in the development and training of entry level youth into the financial industry. He is proud to be part of such a premium company as Pattersons because it has a specialised focus with a national reach that provides clients with the best insurance repair service available in the market today.

Lucy Power

General Manager Safety & Human Resources

When it comes to developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that perfectly align with Pattersons’ business objectives, Lucy brings all the right credentials. A committed team member with more than 20 years industry experience and a passion for educating and developing our teams as future leaders, she plays a key role in helping Pattersons become an employer of choice and a safety leader in the insurance building industry.

In her combined role of group safety & HR manager, Lucy works hard to build an effective culture for workplace wellbeing and safety. This ethos starts at our recruitment strategies and follows the employee lifecycle through probation and annual reviews. She particularly enjoys the site visits which are part of her role in auditing our team’s implementation of safety processes on site, reinforcing our commitment to safety as an organisation.

She believes the key to her success in this highly competitive field is a true passion for workplace health and safety, and an ability to communicate effectively at a corporate level and blue-collar level. Lucy is excited to be part of the Pattersons Insurerbuild  and uses the company’s energy, culture and recognised brand to shape a positive philosophy and promote our corporate values.

Jeremy Yipp

Chief Financial Officer

Jeremy has enjoyed a successful career in insurance, finance, banking and strategy that spans more than 20 years. As our Chief Financial Officer, he brings a dynamic and highly knowledgeable skillset drawn from his experience working in the insurance sector, as well as supporting and making a difference to clients in often stressful times of need. Over the years he has held senior management and leadership roles for a number of companies and embraces the fast-paced nature and variety of different challenges that the building business throws his way.

Jeremy has a natural ability to connect with people and has a passion for dealing with and motivating staff while managing a range of internal and external relationships. He holds a double degree in Engineering and Commerce and has completed a Master of Applied Finance, bringing extensive experience leading large teams to successful outcomes.

He is a dedicated professional who is vastly accomplished in his field and gets immense satisfaction watching people grow and mature in this industry. Jeremy is a welcome addition to our Executive Management Team that thrives on motivation, positivity and encouragement, and is firmly focused on achieving the best results for our clients.

Kyle Patterson

National Business Service Manager

A talented professional who thrives on the excitement of the growth and expansion of our company, Kyle energy, enthusiasm and strong work ethic are the perfect attributes to his role as our national business service manager. Always eager to learn and help the family business, he has worked in various other roles such as admin, customer care, contracts administration, major construction finance, project management, and eventually in a role as finance team leader.

At the core of Kyle’s approach is his ability to bring value to the business and operations by heading up projects and producing financial and analytical reports. With a natural flair for working with people, his warm personality and easygoing nature enables him to deal comfortably with all walks of life, and he has become known as an honest and reliable person who gets the job done.

Kyle also embraces and incorporates new technology to catapult the company even further forward. He is proud to be a part of the family business because of its reputation for delivering specialised insurance repair services, as well as the processes and procedures that give the Pattersons Insurerbuild brand a reputation for excellence.

An experienced commercial and restorative construction specialist, Timothy has a deep professional insight that comes from more than 20 years in the industry. He is known for his leadership and mentoring of colleagues, and delivering positive results for clients, along with a passion for improving the outcomes for the community via our commercial projects.

As a highly organised team leader, Timothy leads by example in his quest to provide a quality service with an emphasis on attention to detail, direct communication and a strong work ethic. He brings a wealth of product knowledge to the team at Pattersons Insurerbuild and truly enjoys being part of an innovative company that has a great culture and career progression opportunities.

Jenny Fitzgerald

Technical Claims Manager

Jenny is an essential component to Patterson’s adding depth and integrity to our major construction team. With a business degree majoring in accounting, she draws on her extensive background in accounts, office administration, project management, procurement and contract administration to deliver exceptional advice and results.

Jenny knows the importance of offering a premium level of care and is committed to fine-tuning our MCP processes and keeping projects on track. Since commencing her career with Pattersons in April 2020, she has had an immediate, positive impact on our business, and works closely with all branches across Australia to implement consistent practices and drive successful outcomes.

Passionate about process improvement and quality assurance, Jenny is excited to have played an active role in the Coffs Harbour Hail and Lismore Flood events for both the make-safe works and reinstatement works. She considers it a privilege to be able to represent the Pattersons Insurerbuild brand while building key relationships with the team and Pattersons nationally.

Paul Keeping

National Operations Manager

Paul thrives on the continual challenge of ensuring first-class support and superior levels of service in his team. He knows and understands the Victorian insurance landscape thoroughly and is tasked with developing and inspiring staff to achieve their professional goals and hit the next level, while also maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Highly skilled in managing and coaching people, he is a proven performer who leads by example with the ability to analyse large bodies of data and implement practical work solutions to ensure the outcomes are achieved. Paul has a thoroughly professional approach to his work and has been managing the Melbourne and Victorian operations since July 2021.

He is vastly accomplished in his field and gets immense satisfaction watching people grow to new heights and helping them to their next step in life. Alex Albanese

Commercial Project Manager

Since commencing his career nearly 30 years ago, Alex has gained extensive experience in all aspects of the construction industry and has established himself as an all-round expert who brings a high level of service to every client he meets. More than just a commercial project manager, he is a qualified carpenter and building supervisor with in-depth knowledge of the commercial/residential building landscape and a track record of successfully achieving the best outcomes in average repair days, costs and quality.

A team player and natural leader, Alex’s management role allows him to continue his passion for construction, as well as passing on his knowledge and expertise to our team. He is known as a hard-working and driven professional who prides himself on delivering projects on time, cost efficiently and without compromising quality.

Alex brings a genuine interest in making a difference to people’s lives with his big picture thinking and focus on leading our team for the growth of the business.
